2009 Seminar - Birnam

Our first event was held at the Birnam Institute in Brinam.  During the two days the projects officers were able to learn about the role of CES, ESSAC and KSB.

Some of the topics covered were carbon counting, community consultation and energy efficiency in the home.

2010 Seminar - Inverness

This event was held in Inverness and the themes were: carbon counting; energy efficiency; enenrgy awareness; review of community renewable energy issues; media training; climate change global issues.  Big snow ball fights.

2011Seminar - Brora

This was to be our last conference as the Climate Challenge Fund was closing in March 2011.  However as it turns out the Climate Challenge Fund will continue for one more year so we hope that Community Powerdown groups will be funded again and the Community Powerdown network will be able to continue.

This conference is a round up of How did we do?  Looking back over the successes and hiccups of the projects and how much CO2 reductions have been made across the 25 communities.
