Energy Efficiency

The majority of Community Powerdown groups have an energy efficiency deliverable.   The groups view such projects as a way to make a real difference in the reduction of carbon emissions from households.  It is also a local solution for tackling fuel poverty.

Most groups will work with ESSAC to bring forward the best local solutions.

 The Trust can provide funds for not-for-profit organisations and groups (such as children's charities, local community groups, support organisations, housing associations, local authorities and others) who work with or represent the vulnerable and fuel poor to help those most in need. Priority will be given to projects aimed at helping families with young children and young people.
